It is rare for a believer to apply all 10 PSD's. The reason - spiritual growth and maturity.

The Ultra Supergrace believer consistently operates in all 10 PSD's. Nevertheless, it should be the goal of every believer.

Do not beat yourself up or be too harsh or critical of your spiritual walk if you are not consistently operating in all 10 perfectly.

Relax in God, trust in His Word and continually take in and apply what you are taught from your Pastor.

Getting over a betrayal is an “inside job”, a soul matter between you and God the Holy Spirit.

The betrayer is actually insignificant because when betrayal negatively affects your soul it means you have allowed your Sin Nature to rule over you.

David said, "I have sinned against You and You only Lord", Psa 41:4; 51:4.

The challenge is to keep watch over your own soul for cleansing or protection from the harmful negative effects of betrayal.

Therefore, a shattering betrayal initiates us into a spiritual awakening.

“Initiates” gain character and wisdom through the three phases of common transitions in life:

"I have died to self and live for Christ." Phil 1:21-25; 3:1-11.

1) The Separation phase is loss or damage in relationship.

2) The Transformation phase is a shift of focus or perspective (thoughts, emotions, and beliefs).

3) The Renewal phase is attainment of (for unbeliever), or regaining of (for the believer), relationship with God.

By viewing the transition from separation to renewal as suffering for blessing, you reframe the psychological ordeals as “tests” that have meaning.

As a result we break the betrayal pattern from negatively affecting our soul.

We need to release the old and allow a new way of being to emerge.

All successful spiritual awakenings end with renewal.

Rom 12:2, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed (transfigured) by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.”

2 Cor 3:18, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed (transfigured) into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.”

With your inner power restored, you will step out confidently in the new spiritual life.

Also, proving our character by the choices we make in response to trials is what forms the basis of God’s just rewards. 1 Peter 1:6-7; 5:10; 1 Cor 3:10-15; James 1:2-5
