As she was inside of the hiding spot Mr. Harvey felt something more than a friendship and began to rape her. The reason why we choose this scene was because this is where the story starts to turn to the worst , this is important because Susie was not thinking and she ended up listening everything Mr. Harvey was whispering to her. What is one important scene?

This scene is important because it shows how much Susie was pleading him not to rape her , and how Mr. Harvey took advantage of her .

What connections can you make to this book? We make this connection to the world because in reality when people go missing while heading somewhere there most likely to end up dead or get raped. This connection is similar to the book lovely bones because Susie went missing on the way home and got raped by someone close by. What connections can you make to this book?
