What Is Going on in the World During the 1930s: Politically By: Aliana Rivera & Angelica Nucifora

What were the major issues facing our country during this time?  Banks Failed  Consumer prices fell and prices of farm goods.  value of goods and services produced annually in the United States.

Who were our Leaders?  Florence Thompson  Franklin D. Roosevelt

How did they seek to resolve these issues?  The Federal government passed a bill to help the farmers.  Banks crashed on Black Tuesday October 29,  Either men just left there family so there wasn’t as much problems.

How did race and racism factor into what was occurring?  Affected blacks more than any other groups.  Linked to racial discrimination.  African Americans receiving welfare was higher than whites.
