Problem 1: A Blind Heart A blind heart refuses to see God’s truth AKA Ignorance Result of the condition: Death alienation from God Ephesians 4:18 having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart;

Problem 2: A Dull Heart No longer motivated to grow in Christ AKA Apathy Result of the Condition: Death Inability to be healed by God Matthew 13:15 For the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, And their eyes they have closed, Lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, Lest they should understand with their hearts and turn, So that I should heal them.'
