Equality Service MHT Referral Criteria: Emerging mental health needs Clear diagnosis of Mental Health Condition Moderate to Severe and Enduring remit Crisis response
Equality Service How to refer: Gain consent from the student (if appropriate) the MHT: including as many details of the student as possible, ID number, contact info and reason for referral Request a meeting with the MHA if you need to discuss the student/ referral more in depth Call on ext and discuss a potential referral
Equality Service What support is on offer? 1:1 support One off intervention or signposting Mental Health Support Plan - support package which can include accessing UoL and external support services Crisis Support Plan (CSP) providing students with a crisis prevention action plan including a clear pathway of support during times of relapse /crisis Advocacy between student and UoL and vice versa Emergency/ Crisis intervention
