Class Syllabus  Grades will be given for class work, participation in class activities, labs, homework, quizzes, tests, & projects.

First 9 Weeks Bacteria Viruses Protists Fungus Classification Ecology Scientific Method

Second 9 weeks Cells DNA/RNA Genetics Plants

Third 9 weeks  Body Systems  Skeletal/Muscular  Digestive  Circulatory  Respiratory  Excretory

Fourth 9 weeks Nervous System Reproductive System Endocrine System Natural Selection

Materials Needed  Binder  Composition Notebook  Book  Pen or pencil (blue or black)  Red pen  Loose-leaf paper  Colored pencils

Daily Science Question  In the composition notebook.  Students should copy down questions and answer them during the first five minutes of class  The entries should be numbered  There will be an open note journal test once per nine weeks

Class Rules  Be in your seat when the tardy bell rings.  Listen to instructions the first time they are given.  Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself.  Respect all people and property.  Bring all materials to class.
