Campus Vision  Yale Officers and Corporation developing long-range strategic vision & site capacity  West Campus will not be used as an overflow campus  Strategic addition to Yale  The look “and feel” of Yale  This acquisition allows Yale a jumpstart of 20 years in terms of lab space research capability  Discussions for use include:  Sciences  Public outreach  Arts  Innovative archiving and storage  Teaching opportunities

November 15, 2007 Operations  Goal – seamlessly integrate West Campus within existing University campus operations  Progress to date:  Convened Planning Committee 9/07  Post close – Phase I and Phase II Phase I – Deliver core services of security, power plant and facilities (minimal occupancy) Phase II – Significant occupancy o Work has gone into planning IT phone network installations, police and security protocols, facilities, grounds & custodial operations, inventory controls systems and environmental and safety analysis and processes.
