SWEET TOOTH One sweet ride!!!

THE THINKING PROCESS Our idea originated from the thought of candy. We had ideas of M&M and Hershey designs. Finally, we concluded with a variety of candy so that not only chocolate lovers will buy the car, but everyone will buy and be satisfied with the product

THE TEAM Kemal (construction manager) build the car and came up with creative idea’s on how to improve the car further. Arhum (equipment manager) ensured that each tool was in it’s place. Sumayyah (design manager) made the car design and came up with most efficient ways to help construct the car and brainstormed idea’s on how the design would satisfy the customer’s to the best ability. Batoul (recorder) kept track of how the car was doing and observed which idea’s where most suitable for the car and which idea’s wouldn’t be effiecent.

CANDY PREFRENCES

CONSUMER PREFRENCE Girls and boys ages 6-10 Majority of children (especially girls)like chocolate better than peanut butter. Favorite toys consist of video game systems, electronics, and dolls. Do you have a toy car at home? 5 people answered NO.

TRIAL AND ERROR Problems: Design Efficiency Copyright Motor Gears Weight Solution: We found a way to make all of our by using a variety of our OWN made up candy. We moved around gears and fixed the design to fit with our car. Since we were not told earlier, the day before the due date we made a whole new design in 20 minutes and that is why it is not as good of a design as it could have been.

Cars have there challenges… Experiment with different ratios. Focus: Build fast car Improvements: Faster, nicer design. Changed design last minute for copyright issues.

WHAT WE WANTED CAR TO LOOK LIKE….

GEARS 15 gear= driver 45 gear= driven Gear ratio: meters in 3 seconds! Epic speed!

THANK YOU FOR WATHCING!!
