Levels of Questions Who, What, Where, When?? How??Why??

This year, we explore our readings using the Socratic method, which uses questioning to understand ideas in a reading at a deeper level. You will learn the 3 levels of questions: recall, analytical, and hypothetical. You will learn the 3 levels of questions: recall, analytical, and hypothetical.

Level One: Recall “Just the Facts, ma’am….” “Just the Facts, ma’am….” Who, What, Where, When? Who, What, Where, When? Only one answer—not discussable/debatable Only one answer—not discussable/debatable Key question words: Define- Describe Define- Describe Identify- List Identify- List Name- Observe Name- Observe Recite- Scan Recite- Scan
