DEFINITION An organized way to solve a problem

STEPS Observe-something that is noticed and wondered about Question- This asks WHY something happens Collect Data-find out as much as you can about your question Hypothesis- educated guess about what the answer to your question might be based on the information you collected

STEPS CONTINUED Experiment- test your hypothesis Analysis- compile results of experiment Conclusions- was your hypothesis supported? If so, re-test to make sure your conclusions are accurate If not, use what you learned to create another hypothesis and test it
