Objectives of the visit Understanding participatory development of natural resources – Exposure to changing policies in watershed development programme in India from time to time – Understanding Implementation of Watershed development programmes supported by different funding agencies in Andhra Pradesh context – Understanding the use of ICT in Major Rural Development programme

Objectives of the visit Understanding management of developed Natural Resources – Pooling of ground water for critical irrigation to rainfed crops – Improvement of soil health through addition of biomass based organic manure Understanding the new paradigm in Rainfed farming systems – Sustainable agriculture production – Livestock with a focus on small ruminants and Back yard poultry – Inland fisheries
