All routes have a driver and monitor if needed There are 27 standbys assigned 10 contingency buses will be placed throughout the District Instructions to drivers are if they see a child on the side of the street waiting for a bus offer assistance
Call Center will be opened Saturday from 8-12 (noon) ( ) Staffing hours for the 1 st week will be 4:30AM till the last child is dropped off Call Center hours are 5:00AM till the last child is dropped off All buses have camera systems operational GPS system is being updated for Monday AM
Option to Remain ◦ Will begin in September ◦ Taxicabs will be provided (depending upon age of child) if no bus is available in the area Charter Buses ◦ Will be available for field trips outside of the District (some will be available within the District depends upon the situation) Principal Survey Action Plans ◦ Phone upgrade that will let the caller know where they are in the que ◦ Phone blasts that lets the school and parents know the bus is running late ◦ Copy all route change letters in the copy center and send to the schools Upgraded bus fleet ◦ 33 new buses ◦ 39 newer buses
