I mean, This was fun… …for the first two weeks.

…and so was this until you learned why everyone calls it suicide hill.

And you were thoroughly impressed that you mastered these steps… …more than once.

you start to feel unlucky. …but at some point

You’RE tired of digging out your car.

…Tired oF Dude, Where’s my car?

this is no longer impressive.

…you make a valid attempt to sunbathe as soon as the temperature breaks 40. You’re so desperate to feel the sun on your skin…

it doesn’t have to be this way you know.

…you have other options.

What do you do on an Alternative Break trip? While each trip is different, all trips focus on a particular social issue such as homelessness, the environment, or youth. This trip will focus on environment, hunger, and youth. We will be volunteering with the Tybee Beautification Association, America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia in Savannah and the Tybee YMCA for a total of 15 hours.

Is there an advisor on the trip? Yes, all trips are required have to an advisor. Advisors are important members of the group and contribute to group discussions and all activities. Advisors ALSO add experience and wisdom to the group and are able to assist students in an emergency situation. Your trip advisors for this particular trip are…. …Nikki Karabinis And Megan walters!

How do I sign up? This trip costs $150 and is first come first serve. A non- refundable deposit of $75 is due by Friday, March 12 th to Selena Hilemon in the McRae House. Another $75 is due to Nikki Karabinis in the McRae House by Friday, March 19 th. $150 will cover gas, lodging, a bus tour of historical Savannah, and a tour of the lighthouse and fort on Tybee Island. FOOD IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS COST.
