The True Story of The Three Little Pigs A Focus on Perspective

Where Do We Get Perspective? How Do We Validate Perspective? When reading, it is very important to be aware that authors sometimes write from a certain perspective: whether it is intentional, or not. During your life you are exposed to a variety of perspectives on several things, and the more you learn or experience about a perspective, the more valid it becomes. Just because my perspective on something may be different than yours, that does not mean that either perspective is not valid. In order to make a perspective valid, you must have appropriate and concrete evidence. When reading, it is important that we “read between the lines” sometimes and look for intentional perspective, or sometimes, try to see what we are reading from an alternative perspective. The True Story… After reading both stories of the Three Little Pigs, you should begin to form a perspective. Was the wolf guilty? What other perspectives can you view this story from?
