The Revolutionary war By Rebecca

How Did the Revolutionary War Start How did the Revolutionary war start, how did America start? The Revolutionary war all started because of the French and Indian War. The Colonist didn't have any weapons for the war. So Brittan supplied the weapons and the colonists won the French and Indian War. After that war King Gorge was in debt. And scene it was because of the responds for the colonists the king started taxing the colonies.

The Boston Tea Party The Boston Tea Party started because of the tea tax. The sons of Liberty came up with a plain They would dress up like Indians and dump the tea in to the harbor. They dressed up like Indians because they didn't want to get punished for there actions.

Taxes When the colonists first got taxed they were completely out raged They protested and did any thing to get rid of the taxes. Even though they weren't taxed to much they still hated it. They were independent before and then they felt like they were being bossed around. The king was being pressured and as you know dropped every tax but the tea tax to stay in charge.

The Revolutionary war The colonels didn't want war, they just wanted to be independent. But King Gorge wanted to stay in charge of the colonies so they had war. The war started on April, 18 th 1775 and ended in 1783 but the last battle was in 1781.

Free The colonists, now Americans were over joyed that they were free. In stead of kings there were presidents. Gorge Washington was the first president of the united states. Now we have the first African American, president Oboma. To this day we' re independent and making history.
