Main results Integral technology of sorghum crop (Sorghum bicolor, L. Moench) and other grains (e.g., soybean, chick-pea, beans, cowpea and sunflower). Integrated management of pests with emphasis on biological control in crops of economic relevance. Production of antagonists and entomopathogens (Trichoderma spp., Beauveria bassiana Bals, Metarhizium anisopliae Sorok.) to control agriculture pests.
Main results Use of bio-fertilizers. Nutritive supplements to improve reproduction in mammalians. Animal feeding systems adapted to local resources. Studies on Animal Health (e.g., swine enteropathogens, sperm quality, parasitology, zoonotic diseases in communities, vectors and vector borne diseases, HACCP and animal products quality, mastitis and associated pathogens, pharmaco-vigilance, biosafety etc.)
