Security and Futures, from Wild Cards to Risks Meeting of the UK Node held in London, 15 th April 2010 Developing seminar programme around wild cards and risks in the context of security and resilience Hosted by the Royal United Services Institute (‘the oldest think-tank in the world’) Originally scheduled for late 2010; now aiming for April/May 2011 Wild cards and risks were perfectly illustrated on the day we met – 15 th April – also the day of the Eyjafjallajökull volcanic eruption and air traffic problems!
