FIFA FALLOUT

FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) announced Thursday that Secretary General Jerome Valcke was suspended, effective immediately, while the organization investigates allegations he participated in a scheme to profit off the sale of World Cup tickets on the black market. Valcke was relieved of his duties until further notice. The Swiss organization's brief statement to the media said FIFA's ethics committee will investigate the series of allegations involving Valcke, the No. 2 man in FIFA after President Sepp Blatter. This only adds to the many problems FIFA has faced lately since this decision comes as investigations continue into other allegations. For example, Jack Warner, FIFA's former vice president and a member of parliament in Trinidad and Tobago, is accused of taking a $10 million bribe to vote for South Africa to host the 2010 World Cup.

In Other News Sheriff's deputies discovered a virtual warehouse of knives, swords, machetes and hatchets inside a house trailer when they arrested a Florida woman. In total, deputies counted 3,714 bladed weapons. Each room in the trailer had at least 500 weapons. Investigators found no firearms. Deputies found other strange things in the Brooksville residence, like an altar with FAKE skulls arranged around it. The summer of 2015 is Earth's hottest on record. The meteorological summer of June-July-August saw its highest globally averaged temperature since records began in 1880, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported. Those record highs occurred on the surface of both land and sea. Using the most recent data from 24/7 Wall St., InsideGov ranked every U.S. president by net worth, from lowest to highest. 24/7 Wall St. relied primarily on historical records to value each president’s assets and adjusted all numbers for inflation. They included factors such as land and property, income, inheritance, and book royalties in their calculation. Lowest Net Worth: <$1 millionHighest Net Worth: James BuchananJohn F. Kennedy $1 billion Abraham LincolnGeorge Washington $525 million Andrew JohnsonThomas Jefferson $212 million Ulysses S.
