Bruxelles, December 8, 2010  According to an agreement signed on December 2005 between the Economy and Financial Ministry, the Research and University Ministry and the Basilicata Region the creation of a Technological District in Basilicata Region (Southern Italy) in the field of Earth Observation and Natural Hazards was promoted.  In this framework the project “Earth Observation and Natural Hazard Technologies” was proposed and approved, with the aim of developing innovative technologies and methodologies for the protection and prevention of natural hazards.
