Voting results Nearly 85% YES vote: certs, paras and office! 85% of members voted – more than 3800 Approved in 96 buildings/programs Almost 50 districts have voted to strike statewide Mercer Island striking and marching with us
One Day Strike: Tuesday May 19 8:00 AM Picket at High Schools (West Seattle, Sealth, Rainier Beach, Franklin, Garfield, Roosevelt, Hale, Ballard) 10 AM Load buses or car pool to Seattle Center 11:15 AM March from Seattle Center to Westlake 12:15 – 1:30 PM Rally at Westlake 1:30 – 2:00 PM March back to Seattle Center Buses return to high schools
At the high schools Go to the high school in your zone (except Cleveland and Ingraham, go to Ballard and Franklin instead) Picket lines at visible points Bring water and some food – we’ll have a few thousand sandwiches, too. SEA tee shirts: first come first serve Everyone wear red
