Current Issues in External Assessment Grade-score marking N0, N1, N2: Not achieved A3, A4: low and high Achieved M5, M6: low and high Merit E7, E8: low and high Excellence Better judgement around grade boundaries Better match of student ability and final grade Allows all evidence to count Gives a mechanism for aggregating question grades
