Anti heat stress clothing for construction workers in hot and humid weather Report 39

Calibration of skin temperature Method (by Dr Song) Utilize the hot plate in the fabric heat retention tester (hyperlink 织 物保暖仪 ). The calibration procedure is as follows: 1. Set the hot plate (“the temperature of the BT box heat plate is controlled with an error of less than 0.1 ℃ ”-specification) into a number of temperature points (skin temperature range: 28 ℃, 34 ℃, 40 ℃ -it is out the range of skin temperature; more temperature points should be calibrated). 2. Cover the temperature sensors with conductive epoxy (hiperlink 导热硅胶 ). 3. Place the temperature sensors on the hot plate and make sure the contact is excellent. 4. Record temperature values of the sensors at different temperature points. Start to record until the skin temperature is stable (after 1.5 min).
