What is Project GLAD? Professional development and instructional model Promotes – English language acquisition – Academic achievement – Cross-cultural skills Develops – Metacognition – Academic language – Literacy

What is Project GLAD? Field tested for nine years Based on experience with integrated approaches for teaching language Tied to standards Access to core curriculum using district guidelines and curriculum

GLAD in Cambrian All Farnham teachers trained 14 teachers trained from Bagby, Sartorette, and Fammatre 40 teachers registered for initial training in June Other teachers will be trained next year Trainings hosted in Cambrian
