What The Skeletal System is  Your Skeletal System is all the bones in the human body. Your teeth are also part of the Skeletal System, but they are not counted as bones.

How Does the Skeletal System Help Us?  The main job of the Skeletal System is to provide support for our body. Without your bones you would be a puddle of skin and guts on the floor. Your Cranium (Skull) protects your Brain, and Eyes.

How our Skeletal System Works  The Skeletal System works by using your muscles, bones, and joints. The only joint less bone in your body is your Hyoid bone in your throat.

Facts About Your Skull Another word for your Skull is the Cranium. The fourteen bones make up the human face.

Facts About Your Middle Body  Your ribs are right above your stomach. Your spine and ribs hold you up. If you did not have bones you would not be able to stand up.

Facts About Your Hands And Feet.  You have more bones in your hands and feet than any other place in your body. The Thigh bone is called “The Femur”. Twenty- seven bones are in your hand.

Facts About The Human Body When you are a Baby.  When a baby is born they have about 350 soft bones. When you are a baby your head is made of soft cartilage plates so it can exit their mothers body.

Facts About The Adults body  When you are an adult you have 206 bones in your body. Your bones don’t stop growing until you are 25 years old.

Bonus Fact!  Did you know that every second your bone marrow produces about 2 million red blood cells.

These Are The Amazing Wonders of The Bones in Your Body Called The Skeletal System  End to Our Skeletal System
