Slide 5 Las Vegas in 2005: July Alexis Park Resort –$79/night –Should be reasonable airfare and connections especially within US –Really is (supposed to be) parklike, 20 acres 3 pools (2 are 24-hour) –No casino –1 mile from the strip –Close to UNLV –Close to the airport (but no obvious noise problem) –Rooms supposedly recently renovated

Slide 8 Issues Initial food prices (and possibly A/V) are very high –ACM says they’re “average” (for the area?) –SPAA and PODC treasurers expect $100-$150 increase in registration
