The southwest By Anthony Cervera Look at all the states in the southwest!

Texas Texas is the closest state to Mexico In Austin, It has a capitol building bigger than Washington D.C.s capitol! They call Texas, “Home of the Alamo!

Alaska Alaska is the coldest state in the United States. In this state, the Iditarod race takes place. This place is sure cold!

Hawaii Hawaii is in the Pacific ocean. People play all sorts of beach games because it’s so hot! Even though Hawaii is in the Pacific ocean, It’s in the southwest!

Oklahoma Oklahoma fits into Texas like a puzzle piece. It has a lot of toll booths in Oklahoma ! Oklahoma is the tornado state!

Arizona Arizona is closer to the west. There is all sorts of nature and attractions! One of the attractions is the grand canyon!

New Mexico New Mexico is a state similar to Mexico. New Mexico borders Texas. Mexico has a lot of food and spices!
