Presentation transcript:

Chameleon Wallz ® A Sparkle Enterprise ® product

What is it? It is an HD pixel screen with a one inch layer of plexi- glass over it It does not give off light, instead it absorbs and reflects light just like a piece of paper Extremely easy to personalize and change all with the click of a computer mouse Very decorative and colorful Replaces the actual wall and becomes the wall structure

Who will benefit? Students Teachers Schools

What are the benefits? Students- a learning tool, will show images and text on a giant screen; will make students more comfortable and happy because it will no longer look like they are in a jail cell Teachers- can use this to help teach classes a lesson and everyone will be able to see and read the lesson Schools- schools as a whole will be a happier and smarter place with very advanced technology

How does it work? Made of millions almost microscopic pixels like the ones found in an HD tv except these do not project light, they reflect it and makes it easy on your eyes Programmed with a computer so teacher or student can decide what the walls’ pattern would be

What does it look like?

The Way It Functions As seen in the previous picture, each wall can be changed to its own design or all walls can be one continuous design You can download pictures or animations onto your computer and they can be shown on the walls

What can it do? It can show: -Pictures -Movies -Single paged documents -Animations such as fish swimming -Video clips

How is this an improvement? The only alternative so far is…..walls School walls are boring and white and make us feel unwelcome The walls make us wish we were somewhere else This would replace a projector and would be an aid to those with impaired vision Nine out of ten kids would agree that colorful walls would make they school day more enjoyable It is an educational tool because teachers can show anything they want to on the walls such as documents, pictures, and videos It can also be used as an incentive for students, such as if they get a 100% on a test they can pick what is on the walls for a day

How will it change the school? Of course, the walls will be changed Kids will want to come to class and see what the teacher had put up on the walls that day It will give teachers yet another tool to teach their lesson in the most educational and understandable way possible

Awards and Achievements Consumer Reports Best Buy Won a Teacher’s Choice Award 2011 Named the next big thing for smart schools by Washington Post Magazine Named most advanced tool for teaching in 2011 “It changed the way I teach my students, it has made my life so much easier.” -Mrs. Bilmarry of Loudoun County Public Schools

Thank You!
