Acquisition Program Studies Referenced MDAP Lessons Learned – Study interviewed over 100 DoD Acquisition Professionals to identify the lessons that were learned over and over. Acquisition Program Reviews and Assessments Study – researched and analyzed the reviews and assessments conducted over the life of a development program to identify gaps and overlaps in an effort to eliminate inefficiencies. Tail-Up Study – researched and analyzed the causes for increases in production costs experienced at the end of programs. The role of program contract and incentive structure in cost increases experienced by current programs. Indirect Costs Study - researched and analyzed data from 17 contractors to determine the impact of indirect costs on overall program costs and improve government management of the cost. Should Cost – researched, analyzed and created a training workshop to address means to conduct estimates in a standardized way to identify potential cost savings. Program Integration – created a two day workshop to train program management teams how to implement Program Integration/Control to better manage their programs.
