The End!!

Summary  I Read the book Checkers by David Marsden this book was about this girl in a mental hospital righting about her past and how she ended up in a mental hospital. the whole thing started when reporters kept coming to her house, and her father was in the paper. her father is in a group that continues to deny being apart the fraud that they have committed. After awhile the reporters wouldn't leave their family alone so things just got worse. One day a reporter showed up and was asking the girl about the dog. then the next day there was a story in the newspaper that was full lies about her dog. the newspaper was linking the dog to the fraud. Her father then murdered her dog. she thought it was her fault because she was the one who had talked to the reporter, so she believed that she had killed her dog.
