 Indonesia is an archipelago comprising thousand of islands.It is above Australia. The countries shares Papua New Guinea,east Timor and Malaysia. Other neighbouring countries are include Singapore, the Philippines, Australia, Palau and the Indian territory of the Andaman and nicobar islands. Location

 The Indonesian climate is almost entirely tropical. The uniformly warm waters that make up 81% of Indonesia's area ensure that temperatures on land remain fairly constant with coastal plains average 28 degrees Celsius,the inland and mountain area averaging 26 degrees Celsius and the highest mountain regions 23 degrees Celsius.  Indonesia is officially called the republic of Indonesia.  The country of Indonesia is ethnically diverse, with around 300 distinctive native ethnic groups and over 740 different languages and dialects spoken in the country.  Indonesia is part of the Malay archipelago covering 5,150 km’s (3,200 miles) east to west between the Indian and pacific oceans. Scattered over either side of the equator is more than 17,50 islands ;of which about 6.00 are inhabited.
