Neymar Neymar is a Brazilian footballer player who plays for the Spanish team, Barcelona and for the Brazilian National Team. He is famous for his speed, dribbling and for being able to play so well with both feet. Neymar was born in Sao Paulo in Brazil. His father was a footballer and when he saw that his son had talent, he decided to become his manager. After a year of playing football, Neymar earned enough money for his family to buy their very first house. When Neymar was just 14, he joined the Real Madrid team and played along side David Beckham, Ronaldo, and Zinedine Zidane. He played his first professional game at 17.

Personal Life Neymar became a father to a little baby boy named David Lucca at the age of 19. Neymar said: “I cried when I learned that I would be a father. At first, I felt fear. Then joy.” When his baby boy was born he described him as “2.8 kilograms of pure happiness”. Neymar is a Christian and gives about 10% of his income to his local church.
