Online Delivery of our MSIT Program Andrew Wasser Associate Dean

Leveraging what we have

2001 Launch with General Motors Pure Distance Mode Audio & Video Capturing of our campus classes Minimal impact on faculty

Our MSIT Tracks: Information Technology Management Information Security & Assurance Software Engineering Management (with our School of Computer Science) Business Intelligence & Data Analytics (new) Dual Degree with Tec De Monterrey

Who are we teaching?  Mid-career IT professionals with at least 3 years of working experience in the field GM IT professionals (70 students) Latin American IT professionals (70 students) Unaffiliated IT professionals (70 students)  Our campus students in Adelaide, Australia and Kigali, Rwanda  Students that started in exec ed (CIO Institute)  Flipping the classroom in Pittsburgh

We do not spoon feed learning into three minute modules You see and hear the exact same thing as does our campus students Post production is minimal A good class is a good class Course Capture: Going against the grain

Not MOOC We are not Massive or Open We provide individual attention by faculty and staff We have not partnered with an outside service provider Our retention rates are over 95%

Our students are serious They are balancing their work life, home life, and academic life There are no distinctions between our campus and distance degrees They contribute back with projects, speakers, internships, etc. Teaching to these students is a great way for our faculty to learn
