Hello everybody!! My name is Valeria I’m 17 and I live in a little town called Verolavecchia, south of Brescia, in the north of Italy. I’ve been studying English for 10 years and I really love this language.

I’m tall with long and brown hair, and I’ve blue eyes. I’m sociable enough but I’m often shy and introvert. I don’t like my character because I change my mood easily, but I’m also kind and polite.

ITALY Italy isn’t very big but there are many inhabitants and some art cities in it; the most important are Rome, the capital of Italy,Venice and Florence. Here we speak Italian but also German and French in some region, and the currency used is the Euro, like in many Countries in Europe. Italy is famous for the good food like pasta, pizza, mozzarella and some sauces like ragù or amatriciana.

Hobbies My favourite hobby is playing volleyball in my team. I go training three times a week and on Saturday or on Sunday I have the match. In summer I like going swimming, and in winter I love going skiing or doing gym. I also love going out with friends and sometimes going to the cinema or to a disco.

My School I attend the fourth year at high school “ITC P.Mazzolari” in Verolanuova. The school isn’t very big but there are many students and there are different courses. For example I study foreign languages course, in which I study French, English and German. I’m very enthusiastic about learning new languages, so I am very happy to go to Greece!!

In my family there are four people; my mother and my dad, and then my brother Stefano and me. My mum is a Maths teacher at the primary school, my dad is a technician and my brother studies at the faculty of engineering at the University In Brescia.
