ARMY!  The Roman army conquered 46 countries all across world.  The Roman army had legionary's and within a legion were 5000 men and they had to be Roman citizens.  The Roman Generals were hardened soldiers and if you did not follow there orders you were punished no matter how small your mistake ! CLOTHES >Romans wore tunics and togas. > Women wore longer tunic which were around ankle- length. > Only men who were Roman citizens could wear a toga. CONTENTS

GLADIATORS! Gladiators fought professionally in the amphitheatres. Gladiators fought and were likely to die within ten minutes Gladiators were usually slaves fighting against hardened criminals or pro fighters CONTENTS

FOODS The Romans ate food that they could grow such as vegetables. They used cereals they grew to make bread. CONTENTS

RICH AND POOR PEOPLE Poor people lived in the slums, they lived in tiny flats usually with four beds and eight people  The rich people in the Roman empire had a colossal villa with 10 rooms. CONTENTS
