What is POM?  POM is short for “Production and Operations Management.”  This major provides students strong managerial and technical education.  Students receive fundamental knowledge they need to work effectively in operations functions.  Topics covered in curriculum include operational design and control issues (i.e. inventory, capacity, forecasting, etc.).
