Hypothesis The teachers that work at Eau Claire Memorial High School will generally have more expensive homes, larger lot sizes and later construction date than those home of teachers that work at Eau Claire North High School

Research Data Methods Eau Claire Area School District website used to find a list of staff at each school. I narrowed the staff used for my study to 20 teachers in similar fields: Language Arts, Math, Science, History, Geography, Art. Eau Claire directory used to find their addresses. Eau Claire Assessment Records used to find out the price, lot size and the year each home was built.

Eau Claire Memorial and Eau Claire North: Homes of Teachers Eau Claire North Eau Claire Memorial

Eau Claire Memorial: Homes of Teachers

Average Eau Claire North High School: Homes of Teachers

The price of homes from teachers a Eau Claire Memorial and Eau Claire North, from the samples I have chosen, do not have any significant differences. However, contrary to my hypothesis, homes of teachers that work for Eau Claire North were slightly higher than those that work for Eau Claire Memorial. While both are Higher than the average in Eau Claire as a whole. LocationAverage Price ($) North$161,050 Memorial$157,815 Eau Claire$151,503 ($) Number of

Besides one outlier from a teacher on Sherman Creek Rd the lot sizes for homes of teachers from Eau Claire Memorial and Eau Claire North do not have any significant differences. Number of 2437 Sherman Creek Rd

The year the homes of teachers from Eau Claire Memorial and Eau Claire North were built vary slightly. The teachers at North seem to live in more older homes but live in more recently built homes as well. Number of

Conclusion From the samples I chose from each respective High School, there was no noticeable difference in the price, size or age of the homes of teachers based on the school that they teach at. In fact, the average cost of homes for teachers at Eau Claire North High School were slightly higher than those from Eau Claire Memorial, but not different enough to make any definite conclusions about there being a difference in the housing of teachers between the two schools.
