Key Purposes of the CCAFS Intranet 1. Ability for the CCAFS teams (management team, coordinating unit, research themes and institutional contact points) to make information and knowledge easily available and accessible (internally) from a single point of access...

Key Purposes of the CCAFS Intranet 2. Central location for the CCAFS teams and Center collaborators to view forthcoming internal and international events, staff absences, institutional contact points directory

CCAFS Intranet – Home Dashboard RSS feeds Events Calendar Key Deadlines Document s Lists / DB’s

CCAFS Intranet – Staff Directory Custom List/Database which includes staff contact information: Photo, Name, Job title, CCAFS Area, Institution, Primary , Phone, Mailing Address, Mobile number, ‘Languages for media interviews’ and Skype ID

CCAFS Intranet – Document Libraries Document Library per team with different security level applied as required.

CCAFS Intranet – Document Collaboration -Ability to check-in/check-out documents (one- author at a time) - Manage version history - Set final documents as records to ensure no one else modifies them -Send document links by (instead of attachments)
