FOLLOW ALL DIRECTIONS Use the assignment to check your paper after you complete it.  Make sure you have all major points covered  If you missed anything, add it in Double space means DOUBLE SPACE PROOFREAD PLEASE  Do your sentences make sense?  Have you spelled words correctly?  Have you properly capitalized?

CAPITALIZATION Capitalize characters in a story or movie  Tin Man  Scarecrow  (Cowardly) Lion  Wicked Witch of the East (West)  Good Witch of the North  Munchkins  Wizard of Oz Also capitalize places  Yellow Brick Road  Emerald City  Munchkinland

AND OTHER STUFF Names of books/movies, etc are underlined, italicized, or put in “quotation marks.”  They are also capitalized Political Parties are capitalized  Populist Party/People’s Party/Populist Movement When describing different views of a topic, make sure you identify each person with their view. For the first two quarters, a missing bibliography will cost 10 points. Improper format costs 5 points. These will double the second half of the year.

So What Now? Good News  These will not count on last term  You will get them back after this next essay so you can focus on one project at a time The Bad News  You will be rewriting them. I will combine them with this version and it will count as another test for 2MP  This will be due on DECEMBER 9, 2007 by 2:30  There will be NO EXTENSIONS. Don’t even ask.
