V 1.0Slide 7 Staff – Basic Info Notes for Basic Information  “Staff Code” is unique among staff in the same WebSAMS and is reusable if a departed staff joins the school again. The first character of the code must not be “#” or “&”.  The system will prompt the user to proceed creating the record, edit the information, abort the action if the following is found to be duplicate:  Short Name  Staff English Name + Sex + Date of Birth  [Primary Identity Document Type + Primary Identity Document No + Place of Issue] must be unique.

V 1.0Slide 9 Staff – Basic Info Click “Browse” to select file  The maximum size of photo file is 32k bytes.  The dimensions of photo should be 120 x 150 pixels.

The user can choose to proceed creating the record, edit the information or abort the action. External Employment Vs Internal Employment  External employment: employment information of other schools or organizations (Such details should be entered in staff basic record – Profile > External Employment History).  Internal employment: employment information of the existing school (Such details should be entered in appointment record – Profile > Appointment).
