Project Description

An IR camera based multi-touch table with the display projected onto a glass surface via a VGA projector Intel Atom will be used to implement the Computer Vision algorithms to sense “touch” An external managing device interfaced with the Atom chip to perform tasks such as wirelessly sending information about:  Send menu items from a SD card  Receive orders from the dining tables via the touch interface  Music on demand feature to enable song selection from the touch interface Project Description

An ability to wirelessly transmit/receive information between the Intel Atom and External Managing device via Bluetooth/RFID interface An ability to read and write data from a SD card interface An ability to interface the External Managing device with a mini LCD display An ability to interface the External Managing device with Audio peripherals An ability to detect and process gestures on the touch table via the Intel Atom chip An ability to interface the External Managing device with Intel Atom Success Criteria
