Astronomical Association of Athens A group (about 10 telescopes) will observe the Venus transit from Pentele Observatory. Another group (about 15 telescopes) will observe the event from mount Kitheronas A group from San Francisco Exploratorium will observe the event and give a live broadcast from Pentele Observatory

Public Lecture by Professor J. M. Pasachoff at the Ceremony Hall of the Building of the Faculty of Philosophy, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Exhibition of Astronomical Photography Observations in collaboration with the Observatory of the University and the students of the Department of Physics. Amateurs from abroad will also participate.
