` SCIENCE OLYMPIAD The Pond Road Science Olympiad Team competed in the state tournament yesterday at Middlesex County Community College in Edison, NJ. Our students all worked hard and placed 7 th out of 25 teams! Attention Pond Road Middle School! The student council is running their annual Penny Wars Fundraiser from Tuesday, March 12 th through Friday, March 22 nd. All money raised will be used to fund our annual Field Day at the end of the year. Each grade will have a Penny War Jar. One penny equals one positive point. All other types of currency are negative points. The grade with the most positive points by March 22nd will win Penny Wars. So if you see other grade jars with lots of pennies, fill them up with other types of money! The grade to receive the most points will win a prize for Field Day. May the best grade win!!
