Municipal Ltd ‘’Ventspils siltums’’ Project partner Nr. 4

Within this projec Municipal Ltd ‘Ventspils siltums’ has set up 506 „Metlink” heat meter remote data reading equipments.

This system is already used by Municipal Ltd ‘Ventspils siltums’ employees in their daily work.

BENEFITS:  Reduced management costs - With „Metlink” we read heat meter measurements. This reduce management costs, as there will be no longer need to check every meter.  Faster fault detection - „Metlink” is helping us to monitor system performance. It allows to determine if there are any problems in the supply system very fast.  Faster bill preparation - „Metlink” allows to receive data from the meter at the exact moment when they are needed. This will help us to quickly prepare bills for energy consumption and improve client relations.

 New services to costumer - „Metlink” remote meter reading functionality allows us to offer new services to customers. For example regular reports on the consumed energy per month.  Meter readings without errors - „Metlink” system helps to avoid mistakes that can occur when person is reading meter measurements. Data, through secure transmission form, are sent to „Metlink” software.  Reports and graphs - Using reports in form of graphics and tables prepared by „Metlink”, it will be able to assess the situation and ensure the successful provision of services.
