there live: 180 bird species 12 amphibian species 4 reptile species 379 plant species & a lot of very rare species mew gull warty newt marsh orchid
a strongly educated biostructure with aid of the ecological station Borna – Birkenhain ecological station Borna – Birkenhain ecological station Borna – Birkenhain up to 20 meters deep new plans for the lake: walkingtours with guides cycle paths watersport activities
