Psalm 139 We are Significant People Our significance comes from God knowing us, being present with us, having created us, and guiding us.

Verses 1 – 6 God’s Omniscience How well does God know me? Verse 1 – The theme of the Psalm Verses 2, 3 – God encompasses us at all times Verses 4,5 – A prime proof of God’s omniscience Verse 6 – God’s knowledge of us is overwhelming.

Verses 7 – 12, God’s Omnipresence Just how near is God to me? Verse 7 – Two possibilities Verses 8, 9 – You can’t outrun God! Verse – The comforting assurance of God’s abiding presence.
