In 1947 He was born in Norfolk, England on May 2nd of 1947. He was in middle class.
1956-1965 He went to the school called Gresham’s school which is in Holt, Norfolk. But his father died because of the cancer.
1965-1966 He only spent one year in Byam Sham school and he studied about the arts which is in London.
1966-1970 He learned about interiors and designs at Royal College of Art for 4 years. He designs a theatre for New Stratford Design and make a “Sea Truck” which win a award and get a “Duke of Edinburgh” special prize in 1975. He married Deirdre Hindmarsh in 1968
1970 For designing Sea Truck and winning reward, he became famous and it was one of the steps to became famous
1974 Another big inventions that he built was Ballbarrow. It make farmer easier because you can carry stuffs more easily and it is more fast.
1977 Again, he won a reward called “Building Design Innovation”. It was one of other steps to became famous
1979 He started to design his most biggest invention called Vacuum Cleaner by help of her wife
1983 He design the first vacuum cleaner called G- Force which is pink and front cover of Design Magazine which was in 1983. Then he started to sell his stuff in UK and Europe. Slogan “Say goodbye to the bag”
1986 After selling G-Force in UK and Europe, Japanese start to sell the product too.
1991 After five years of selling to Japan, G-Force won the International Design Fair in Japan and Japan liked it.
1993 After becoming famous, he opened his own factory in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
September 1996 He designs brand new vacuum cleaner DCO2 which has two functions. It is HEPA and bacteria killing.
1999 January: Appointed as Chairman of the Design Museum February: Again, he deigned a new vacuum cleaner called DCO4
2001 Contrarotator won the Homes and Gardens magazine’s “Classic Design Reader’s Award” Then he made a Dysons DCO7 which is most powerful vacuum cleaner.
2002 He made “Water Sculpture” which water flows to top of the four sides. Soon, it was displayed at the Chelsea Flower Show.

2003 The “Water Sculpture” which was invented in 2002, it was displayed at Chelsea Flower Show
2011 He is studying at his factories and try to make new inventions that will surprise the world. He opened the “James Dyson Award” which is international system for students who built good inventions
2012 He is now 65 years old and he wrote a book called “Against the Odds” It is story of his life and inventions that he created
