Bill’s Basics for Using Curriculum Materials “So much material! So little time!”

(Terrified Trainer)

Relax! Here’s how you do it: 1.Read all of the available lesson material. 2.Pick and choose according to what best meets objectives, length of class time, and class size. Don’t try to do everything! 3.Add your own ideas and materials if relevant. 4.Write down the whole lesson in sequence – a script or a lesson plan. 5.Teach it. A.Be flexible and have fun. B.Vary it – don’t do the same types of things over and over again. 6.After the lesson, write down what worked and what didn’t so you can adjust what you do the next time.
