Put the Power to the Point! MICROSOFT POWERPOINT ONLINE

Today we will:  Students will learn how to use the PowerPoint Web App in Office 365  Students will learn how to effectively use online research engines and other resources to include in their PowerPoint  Students will learn how to "Share" and work on a PowerPoint at the same time in Office 365.

So.... What exactly is PowerPoint?  This slideshow right now is made in PowerPoint, pretty nifty eh?  In PowerPoint you can insert pictures  Make animations  Have bullet points  Create shapes  And more!

What are we doing today?  I will use the random group generator to pick groups of 2 or 3  Once you are in your groups, decide on a topic to do your slideshow on such as an animal, activity, place, or famous person  After you have chosen your topic, let me know!

To create a PowerPoint  Be sure you are signed into Office 365.  Go to "SkyDrive" at the top blue bar

Then click "PowerPoint Presentation" Only one person per group do this!!!!!!

Name your Presentation  Example "Alex's and Michelle's Project on Giraffes"

Share your project with your group

Type in the names of your group members  Be sure they have "Edit" rights. Once their names pop up, click on them.

Finally...  Go back to your PowerPoint and begin working!  Group members check your for the link to work on it..  I suggest that everyone work on a different slide..
