Organizing your desktop folders Learning Target: I can organize my desktop folder so that all of my do nows, digital photographs, formative projects and summative projects are in individual folders.

Rubric: Organizing Folder  Exceeding – You will have 7 folders with the same names as the examples and all photos, documents and information will be included in each. When I ask you to find a summative assignment you will be able to go right to it in the appropriate file.  Meeting – Everything is in a folder, but some photos, documents and information are in the wrong folders.  Approaching – Only some folders are created, photos, documents and information are not organized, but are all in the student folder.  Beginning – Student folder is created, but only some folders are included and not all photos, documents and information is in folder. Missing items and student cannot find assignments when asked.  No Evidence – folder is not created, no photos, documents and information are included, no effort is made to organize folder.

Your folder should look like this:  About Me  AI Student Flyer  Best Works  Do Nows  E & P of Design  Landscape Portraits  Photographs Harris, Teri **Tip 1 – everything should be in a folder. No extra photos or document floating around in your folder. **Tip 2 – your digital photographs should be organized and in the folders for each assignment that you were doing at the time. Any extras should be in the Photographs folder.

Inside the folders, examples:  Do Nows  Do Now - Do Now Week 1 - Do Now Week 2 -Do Now Week 3 -Do Now Week 4 -Do Now Week 5 -Do Now Week 6 -Do Now Week 7 -Do Now Week 8 -Do Now Week 9 -Do Now Week 10
