Characteristics of Habitats

environment all of the natural world of land, sea, and air

Georgia Habitats Georgia has many different types of habitats. They include: Mountains Piedmont Wetlands Coastal Plains Atlantic Ocean

wetlands land where there is a lot of moisture in the soil, such as marshes and swamps

Other Habitats Some other habitats that we that can be found around the world include: Deserts Grasslands

desert dry, often sandy land that gets very little rain

grasslands large, open areas of grass, such as pasture or prairie

trait a feature, or a characteristic of an animal that makes him different from another This is an arctic hare. Shortened ears and thick, white fur are among the physical traits that it has adapted to survive in the harsh, frozen tundra.
